Elliott DeVivo is a versatile clarinettist / bass clarinettist based in Surrey. Specialising in chamber music he also plays orchestrally, with a duo partner and as a soloist. He is is Principal clarinet of the Sinfonia Tamesa and is often called upon for rehearsals and concerts with the Dorking Philharmonia, and Bromley Symphony.

After completing his Diploma in clarinet performance in 2009, Elliott continues to broaden his knowledge of duo and concerto repertoire. Having previously studied with Victoria Soames Samek and Richard Hosford (Principal of the BBC Symphony Orchestra), he now continues his studies with Janet Hilton.

Elliott also doubles saxophones and flute playing for various shows around london and south east, including a recent production of NINE the
musical at the Arthur Cotteral Theatre in Kingston.

In 2005 he formed the Mistral Clarinet Quartet, who gives
regular recitals, both nationally and internationally, playing for
events including weddings, functions and local music festivals.

Along with pianist Catherine Herriott and soprano Felicity
Hayward, Elliott co-founded the Consonum Ensemble,
who explores a variety of chamber repertoire for Soprano,
Clarinet and Piano.

During 2009 Elliott, in collaboration with clarinettist
Laurence Scott and flautist Ana Franklin, formed the
Waldegrave Ensemble. Primarily based as a wind quintet
and wind dectet, the flexible wind ensemble explores
works from the classical era through to 21st century.
